Fundraising

This fundraising program lasts all year and is done on an individual basis.

WHAT IS SCRIP: SCRIP is a card you purchase (exactly like a gift card you would buy at Starbucks) with a cash balance.

WHERE DO I USE SCRIP: You can use SCRIP cards at hundreds of retailers. A Full list is available at www.glscrip.com

HOW DO I BENEFIT FROM PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROGRAM:

1. Go to www.glscrip.com and pick out the companies you are interested in.

2. Email your order to me at cstansel1@cox.net

3. Get a check to me for the amount of your order – your ‘profit’ will be deposited into your students band account.

4. Pick up your order and Shop!

Here is an example of the SCRIP Cards you can buy and how much you can expect to get back (fundraise) for YOUR students account.

Starbucks 2 $25 cards = 50.00 (7% discount = 3.50 profit)

Albertsons 1 $100 card = 100.00 (4% discount = 4.00 profit)

Cabellas 1 $100 card = 100.00 (11% discount = 11.00 profit)

Old Navy 1 $25 card = 25.00 (9% discount = 2.25 profit)

250.00 purchase with $20.75 (that’s 12.05 %!!!) going straight back into your students “Band Account” for trips & Fees.

A very small fee (usually .50 -.75 cents) will be taken out for shipping charges.

There are hundreds of different retailers to choose from: Restaurants, Airlines, Hotels, Grocery, Fast Food, to name a few.

Fry's Card
Purchase a $5 refillable giftcard from Paula Wegner (Casey Elliott's mom). You refill this card before you purchase groceries, as you please - every week, every month . You pay for your grocery purchase with the giftcard. Frys will donate 3% of your purchase and it will go to your band student's account, or to Chaparral band.

Basha's card
You can also purchase a Bashas' refillable giftcard for $20 from Paula Wegner (Casey Elliott's mom). You refill this card before you purchase groceries, as you please - every week, every month, etc. BASHAS will donate 6% of your purchases and it will go to your band student's account, or to Chaparral band.
