Dear Band Booster Parents,
Welcome to our Band family! We are a community group that has one objective: To support our children’s success and enthusiasm as members of the Chaparral Firebird Marvelous Marching Band.
WHO WE ARE
The Chaparral High School (CHS) Band Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Arizona Corporation that supports the CHS band program, which includes Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. Every family who has a student registered in Band is a member of the Band Booster Club. Because the Scottsdale Unified School District provides limited funding, we the Band Boosters raise funds to cover costs for clinics, instrument repair, supplies, sheet music and instruments. The Boosters provide assistance to our CHS band members at all home football games, band camp, regional and state competitions.

Scholarships
The Band Boosters have made available a limited number of scholarships in special cases of need. Any member or prospective member seeking a full or partial scholarship should complete the "Financial Need Scholarship Application and Contract Agreement" and return it in a sealed envelope to Jennifer Mireau, the Band Director. All scholarship decisions will be made by a committee to include our Band Director, Jennifer Mireau, and two officers of the Band Boosters. No member of the band shall be made aware of the application or grant of scholarships. Failure to comply with the terms of the scholarship contract may lead to a cancellation of the scholarship.
